One more day

December 23 - Somebody's birthday. Jim started my day off with breakfast in Oundle at the Coffee Tavern. Next we ran Maggie to the kennel so we can leave for Egypt tomorrow. Taking the tree down was next on the agenda so we could sweep all the pine needles out the front door before leaving on a jet plane. Jim made reservations at The Bell in Stilton for dinner. We ate in the bar which was absolutely adorable. Sitting next to the fireplace we started with Camembert cheese and soldiers (garlic toast strips) yum. I had the lamb stew and Jim had chicken and mashed potatoes. And to finish off the birthday we each had sticky toffee pudding and coffee. An almost perfect day. The only thing missing was the kids but I heard from each of them so that helped. After dinner we came home and decided on suitcases and began packing. Jim went to bed but I can't sleep so I am syncing IPods before the taxi shows up at 3:30 a.m. What do I download next.......
